Introduction: X-Men Apocalypse is directed by Bryan singer and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence,
Oscar Isaac and more. This is the 8th installment in the X-Men Franchise and it revolves around the emergence of the world’s first mutant, Apocalypse, and how the X-Men unite to defeat his extinction level plan.
Synopsis: Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a God. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto, to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven with the help of Professor X must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
Review: X-Men Apocalypse is definitely one of the weaker films in the Franchise but the movie is far from being the worst. The Movie is visually outstanding with great action scenes with a really good use of violence for a PG13 Movie. Great performances from the new actors and especially Michael Fassbender with his story sub plot being great. The movie suffers from terrible script, pacing issue and completely wasted potential of the antagonists.
Recommendation: In the end X-Men Apocalypse is worth the watch in a theatre.
