Los Angeles, CA (Aug. 13, 2024). Filmmakers don’t need to focus on accurately recreating our everyday lives. A degree of artistic license is acceptable. This has always been the case, especially with how changing technology or the latest technology is portrayed. Audiences generally understand what they see on screen may not be entirely realistic. There are some important changes that every filmmaker should know about.

Live Casino Games Provide a New Atmosphere
Casinos have always offered an exciting setting for movie scenes. They have highlighted changing technology over the course of many films. Whether it’s James Bond remaining cool as the chips stack up. Or the main character faced with a make-or-break moment that leaves us holding our breath. In reality, most players simply play casino games for entertainment. But, the easily recognizable setting allows viewers to imagine themselves in the action.

The emergence of online live casino games has added a new dimension to the game that films could explore. We can see in the Paddy Power live roulette category how this works: a human dealer performs the same role they would in a traditional casino, with players following the action via a live stream. While the rules are similar to classic games, some versions include new features like multipliers, adding fresh ideas that could be used in movie scenes.

Cryptocurrencies and Their Everyday Uses
Another changing technology is cryptocurrencies, for film funding. The spectacular rise of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Dogecoin has made them a significant part of the modern financial world. With over 10,000 active cryptocurrencies and 560 million users, according to Exploding Topics, it’s clear that many people now understand how these digital currencies work.

Despite this, the idea of buying and selling cryptos or using them for everyday transactions has yet to be fully explored in movies. Most films about cryptocurrencies are documentaries that discuss the way they work. It seems likely that we eventually see movies that show how people have integrated these tokens into their daily lives and the possibilities they offer.

AI Robots and Their Current Uses
The idea of robots that use artificial intelligence (AI) has been around for many years, with Terminator, The Matrix, and I, Robot among the most famous examples. These film highlight changing technology. A look at the best AI movies reveals that many are based on the idea of intelligent robots rebelling and taking over the planet, leading to a dystopian future. However, robots that use AI are now becoming a part of everyday life, rather than a far-off idea to be feared.

The Chinese carmaker Geely has started using robots in its production line, with other manufacturers like Tesla expected to follow suit. The Walker S Lite robot used by Geely in their Zeekr factory moves boxes and pallets to assist workers. This is giving us new ideas of how this technology could soon be depicted in movies, showing their everyday interactions with humans rather than focusing solely on the potential threat they pose.

While all these types of technology have been used in filmmaking in the past, their recent advancements offer exciting new possibilities that we can expect to see in films soon.
