The Water Phoenix is a short film and it is a love story between a captive mermaid (The Water Phoenix) and her caretaker. As the prized attraction for the aquarium, she dreams of life when she was free to swim in the ocean, her home. Now the owner of the aquarium has sold her and she is going to be moved further away from the ocean. She needs to find a way to escape or forever be a prisoner.
