Press Release: Let Live at Tribeca 2023

Los Angeles, CA (June 7, 2023)—Olivia Levine wrote, starred in, and produced Let Liv, which the talented filmmaker Erica Rose directed. This important short touches on generational addiction and the effect that it can have on families. This live action short film is in selection from over 8K entries to premiere in contention at the OSCAR-qualifying Tribeca Film Festival. Levine and Rose are Brooklyn natives and Let Liv is complete with the beautiful backdrop of New York.

Starring Olivia Levine (Tallulah, I Hate Kids), Christine Taylor (High Desert, Zoolander, Search Party), Rosaline Elbay (Kaleidoscope, Ramy), Jordan Carlos (Everything’s Trash, Black Mirror, Broad City), Monica Wyche (The Sinner, Five Days at Memorial, The Path), Sarah Herrman (Mutt), and Abdu Garmazi (FBI Most Wanted).

Logline: A young alcoholic woman agrees to attend an AA meeting with her partner. When she unexpectedly runs into her estranged mother, she’s forced to confront demons from her past.

Erica Rose
Erica Rose is an award-winning Brooklyn-based writer, and director with a focus on queer and female-driven stories. She co-created, executive produced, and directed episodes for the Roku Original Series, The Lesbian Bar Project which received a special Recognition Award at the GLAAD Media Awards. After screening in over 40 festivals internationally, her short film Girl Talk premiered online, and currently has over 36 million views.

She also directed season 2 of the award-winning web series Interested In that premiered Fall 2022. She’s in development for various television and film projects, including the feature queer comedy Titters co-written by comedian Ali Clayton.

Olivia Levine
Olivia Levine is a queer actor, comedian and writer based in Brooklyn. She received her B.A. in Theatre from Barnard College, Columbia University. Other training includes Uprights Citizens Brigade, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (London), and The Studio/NY. Olivia’s film credits include Tallulah opposite Allison Janney and I Hate Kids with Tituss Burgess and Tom Everett Scott. Levine is currently developing Let Liv into a feature with director Erica Rose, and she has another feature in development with Proton Entertainment
