Running With Wolves Author, Screenwriter and Producer T.J. Chester hopes to involve hometown in her movie
Gary, IN: Gary, IN native, TJ Chester plans to involve her hometown in her upcoming projects, “Running with Wolves”. Chester, an accomplished author with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts, plans to turn her three-part book series, “Running with Wolves” into a feature film.
It will film in Gary, IN this March. The feature film, “Running with Wolves” is a modern-take on the 1996 film, “Set it Off” and is about a promiscuous young woman named Rae, whom after being evicted from her home, is forced into a life of crime; aiding her companions in armed robberies, but when she changes her mind and wants to get out of the risky lifestyle, fear and desperation keep her at their side.
Grover McCants, Bill K. Kenney, and Maubra Foster will appear in the film; however there are some characters left to cast. Interested actors in the Chicago, IL or Gary, IN area should apply through casting call website, Backstage or by emailing their: head shots, resumes, and reels (if applicable) to [email protected]
In a world of advanced technology, almost anyone can make a film. The challenge is making a good one and then actually completing it. That is exactly what TJ Chester is in the process of doing. “I’ve been focused for the past three years on seeing this through to completion and I can finally see the light!” Those who have read her books are excited to see how they translate to the screen. This is an urban drama of a different light, with many layers to each character.
Ms. Chester is in the beginning month of production on “Running with Wolves” and will wrap by April 2019. Her plan is to have red carpet premieres in both Atlanta and Gary this September. Please follow and support Ms. Chester and her film “Running with Wolves” on the following social media sites:
