Minneapolis (October 14, 2024) — Joy of Horses, a new independent feature film, has officially found its distributor in BMG Global. The heartwarming drama, which recently had a sold-out red carpet premiere at Woodbury Theater, is co-written and executive-produced by 18-year-old Ava Justin, the visionary behind Ava Justin Productions. BMG Global released the film on DVD, EST, and TVOD on Oct. 8, with streaming availability on Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) and Ad-Supported Video on Demand (AVOD) platforms expected beginning Nov. 22.
Directed by Joel Paul Reisig, Joy of Horses is a touching narrative of personal transformation and self-discovery. The film tells the story of Joy, a young woman grieving the loss of a loved one who moves to a new state in search of healing. Amidst this transition, she finds herself in a love triangle when a figure from her past unexpectedly reappears.
