Review: This movie was surprisingly entertaining. I entered the cinema, with the thought that this movie would be bad, but I was wrong. Henry Cavill was the best thing in the movie, he was charismatic. The 60’s production design set up with the throwback was great. The humor was pretty good. The first action scene was the best action-sequence in the movie and its sets off the tone of the character performance very well. There were some interesting transitions in the edits which was appealing. I really liked the drama in the movie. The story was cliched and it is the spy movie with twist to it.: CIA in a joint mission with the KGB. The action scenes were handheld which was sometimes distracting.
Recommendation: The Man from U.N.C.L.E is a fun popcorn flick and good throwback to the 60’s.
