Film Threat’s Bobby LePire gave the film a solid 9/10. Calling it “a thriller that toys with the truth in fun ways.” “A masterclass in creating a noirish thriller atmosphere.” Chris Jones of Overly Honest Reviews said. “The Imposters dives into the tangled threads of deception and identity. With an adept blend of noir and psychological thrills that keeps the narrative crisp and unique from start to finish.”

Talking about working with Director Nicholas Winter, Marie Everett said. “I definitely had much more of a role in the development of this character than anyone else I’ve ever played. Which was amazing. I found it really helped with the performance.” “Hattie’s really unique and fun and complex,” says Austin TX-native Chynna Walker, speaking about what drew her to the role. “And it’s still kind of rare to come across a script and a character that’s just really exciting.”
The Imposters is available to watch on various streaming platforms in the UK and US from January 21, 2025.
