Los Angeles, CA – August 10th, 2022. The Producers of the sci-fi/horror short film, The Fore-Men are at the beginning of its film festival run. They are screening their US Premiere of the movie at the 2022 HollyShorts Film Festival. The event holds this Sunday, August 14th at noon exclusively at the TLC Theaters.
“We’ve just started our festival run with our world premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival and we’re very excited to bring The Fore-Men for its US Premiere to Hollyshorts,” said director Adrian Bobb. The journey to bring the film to life was a challenging one, particularly shooting during at one of the heights of the Covid-19 pandemic in Canada.

“We up against the harsh elements in the northern part of the country and coupled with that was the ongoing pandemic. We got super lucky! The smooth was very smooth. The cast and crew did a great job and we all made it home in one piece.”
There’s a lot more coming from Adrian and his new film. “This was one of the tougher proof of concept films we’ve done,” said producer Zeus Kontoyannis. “We needed everything to be as top quality as possible and we feel we pulled it off. We’re developing the feature version of this story right with Adrian. Our other producer Brian Qunitero and his Dead Mariachi Films and we’re even considering a series.”
The Fore-Men is a short film centered around two main characters, Sam and Roj who are thrust into a new and unknown world. Mere weeks after a mysterious time-compression event violently splices environments from the ancient past with the modern present, the two survivors encounter the foreboding figures responsible for the event and experience firsthand their sinister nature.
The Fore-Men is early in its film festival run and is has not been released publicly. You can watch the film at this year’s Hollyshorts Film Festival on August 14th at noon at the TLC Chinese theaters.
