‘The Bruised Spring’s Teens Web Series by Itai Guberman

Two Israeli filmmakers, Itai Guberman (Writer/Director/Producer) and Asaf Angel (Cinematographer, Producer) have created an Aussie Comedy Web Series titled ‘The Bruised Spring’s Teens’. The two filmmakers are a duo who make films together in the fashion of Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, the duo that is made Captain America: Civil War.

Itai Guberman and Asaf Angel have brought the indie film community two projects: ‘Third Temple‘ and ‘Dolphin‘, the two projects are currently available for viewing on StreamNow TV.

The Bruised Spring’s Teens is a comedy web series surrounding two characters, Wes Burman and Francis “Shatner” McPhee, two roommates who wanted to make a movie so bad, they failed to notice they were living in one.

The series was made by ‘MyIndie Productions’ as a side project in-between film productions. Itai Guberman and Asaf Angel decided to make the show purely out of love for the material. The show was made using only a two-man crew. Asaf and Itai took on all the production roles, anything from lighting, to costumes, makeup and even catering. They chose two very talented and hilarious actors in Zach Cohen and Tomer Shechori to play the two roles and the four embarked on The Bruised Spring’s Teens adventure. The result is a five-episode first season, that can currently be viewed HERE.
