The new Star Wars trailer footage, begins, fittingly, with a question. A clipped, authoritative voice asking: “Who are you?”
Daisy Ridley’s desert scavenger Rey answers plaintively: “I’m no one.”
John Boyega’s runaway stormtrooper Finn faces his own existential crisis: “I was raised to do one thing. But I’ve got nothing to fight for.”
Adam Driver’s villainous Kylo Ren has no such doubt or humility. “Nothing will stand in our way,” he says to Darth Vader’s scorched mask. “I will finish what you started.”
