SCAMMERHEAD Streaming Debut
Los Angeles, CA (Oct. 19, 2023). Indie global noir feature film “SCAMMERHEAD” will be debuting on streaming platforms starting in October through Indie Rights Distribution.
Synopsis: The strange and epic tale of legendary hustler Silas Breece and his Empire of Scam.
Scammerhead is by writer and director by cult indie film director Dan Zukovic (The Last Big Thing). And had a long award-winning run on the festival circuit, starting with it’s World Premiere in the Main Competition at the Montreal World Film Festival, where it nominated for the Prix des Ameriques.
It won “Best Narrative Feature” at the Berkeley Film Festival, as well as the Trenton Film Festival, and the “Visionary Award” at the Lake Champlain Int’l Film Festival, and Dan Zukovic was nominated for Best Performance at the Orlando Film Festival. It won “Best Cinematography” at the Riverside Int’l Film Festival. The Berkeley Times has called “SCAMMERHEAD” “One of this years’ most intriguing movies.”

A Global Film Noir with dark comic elements, “SCAMMERHEAD” was shot for over 7 years in numerous international locations, including New York, Berlin, Tokyo, Chicago, London, Mexico City, Havana, Washington DC, Memphis, Liverpool, Paris, Rome, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Elba Island and Alcatraz Island.
Scammerhead stars Dan Zukovic (The Last Big Thing, The X-Files), legendary Hollywood character actors Alex Rocco (The Godfather, The Friends Of Eddie Coyle) and Bruce Glover (Chinatown, Diamonds Are Forever), as well as Duane Whitaker (Pulp Fiction), Chris Humphreys (Elysium), Shannon Wilcox (Seven), Johannah Newmarch (The Twilight Zone), C. Ernst Harth (Capote) and Alex Zahara (Open Range).
