From Hollywood California Lynne Alana Delaney will be going to Paralia Katerini next spring. She will perform the character of Tosca in Bruno Pischiutta’s film project The Trilogy.

A simple negative fact affected the career that a California-born child of Irish heritage had pictured for herself. Lynne Alana Delaney wanted, after secondary school, to attend the Pasadena Playhouse school and become an actress.

Unfortunately, the school closed and thus our little girl went on to a formal education. She attended Santa Monica College and completing her undergraduate degree at UCLA. Lynne Alana became a flight attendant and travelled all over the world. The job allowed her to continue her studies for a Law degree and open an Immigration Consulting firm.

The lawyer’s sedentary job, however, did not satisfy our little girl. Who had meanwhile grown up and blossomed into a very beautiful young woman.

At this point, with a degree and flight attendant experience, Lynne Alana Delaney returned to her first love. In Hollywood to act in a multitude of films and achieve the stardom that had always been in her path.

She married Argentinean actor Ruben Roberto Gomez. Her University sweetheart. So, in addition to the languages she already spoke, she also learned Spanish perfectly.

Despite all this, it is not possible to reduce Lynne Alana Delaney’s artistry to theatre, film and television acting. Because, she is a complete and multifaceted artist. In fact, she sings, paints and her keen interest in photography. They have revealed incredible skills in film directing, film writing and film production.

Her first feature film, THE REMAKE, brought all these qualities to light. Today, Lynne Alana Delaney is considered not only a great performer but a great artist. Her talents as a writer, director and film producer are now recognized worldwide.

These days Lynne Alana is very busy with her intense artistic activity. She is completing a TV pilot and two new screenplays. Plus she is curating an exhibition of her acrylics entitled Reflections.

At this point, director Bruno Pischiutta offered Alana the part of Tosca in the second film of The Trilogy. The film project Bruno has been working on for years. Tosca appears in the film which will be shot in Greece.

Bruno Pischiutta is an internationally celebrated and awarded writer, director and producer whose career spans more than five decades. He is especially noted for his socially and existentially oriented films.

Pischiutta is one of the last great Italian filmmakers of his generation. During his career, he created and developed numerous feature films in Europe, America, Africa and Asia, and won important awards in several countries.

In China he wrote and developed the feature film The Sepia Portrait, and in Ghana he completed the feature Punctured Hope, which the Hollywood Political Film Society recognized as the Best Film Exposé and Best Film on Human Rights of that year, and proposed it for nomination at the Academy Awards®.

The good news is that Lynne Alana Delaney has accepted the part of Tosca and will be going, in late spring, to Paralia Katerini, a beautiful and well-known tourist resort in northern Greece lying on the coast of the Aegean Sea, and surrounded by the high mountains of Olympus, where the action of the entire film will take place.

Director Bruno Pischiutta says: “Many positive things have happened in my career over the past year, but I am particularly proud of two events: I am glad that the European Film Academy has welcomed me among its excellent and famous members, and I am happy that Lynne Alana Delaney has agreed to perform the part of Tosca in the second film of The Trilogy, the one that will be shot in Greece.”

Here, in her own words, are the reasons that prompted her to accept the part Bruno proposed: “I think as a whole, people often tend to bury their heads in the sand, trying to ignore some of the negatives that exist in society today.

Bruno Pischiutta’s original screenplays for the Trilogy bring topics like freedom of speech, pedophilia and the sexualization of children to our consciousness in a palatable way. They encourage us to reexamine these issues and possibly do something about them.”
