Los Angele, CA (December 03, 2024). Dani Feixas’ profound short PARIS 70 follows Jan (Alain Hernández). As he attempts to take care of his mother Angela (Luisa Gavasa). Who has succumbed to Alzheimer’s. The film is deeply inspired by the director’s own journey. When his grandmother suffered from Alzheimer’s and Dani’s mother cared for her at home. It is an emotionally captivating and inspiring story that seeks to honor caregivers and highlight the importance of their work. The drama is the most awarded short film of the year. It has accumulated over 150 awards and was selected in over 180 official selections in total. The short earned the director a 2024 Goya Awards nomination and has qualified for the 2025 Oscars®.

Director Dani Feixas is currently working on his feature film with the renowned Spanish production company Morena Films. In addition to his work in film, Dani has directed, produced, and edited documentaries for television. In the advertising field, Dani has directed, produced, and edited campaigns primarily focused on social causes. Addressing issues such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, public health, and social inclusion. He has also created content for international brands like Samsung, Reebok, Amazon, Netflix, and Estrella Damm. As well as music videos with more than 200 million views on YouTube. Dani holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the UniversitatUVIC-UCC in Barcelona. A diploma in Production and Creation of Fiction Series from the EFTI Cinematographic Center in Madrid. He is widely recognized as one of the most promising and influential voices in contemporary Spanish cinema.

Lead actor Alain Hernández is renowned for his talent and versatility in film and TV. Among his most notable projects is the Netflix thriller series LA CAZA. The romantic drama film PALM TREES IN THE SNOW (PALMERAS EN LA NIEVE, 2015), produced by Nostromo Pictures. He played the lead in THE ONE-EYED KING (EL REY TUERTO, 2016). A socially impactful film which earned Hernández high praise for his intense performance. These roles have solidified Alain Hernández as one of the most prominent actors of his generation.

Lead actress, Luisa Gavasa is a prominent figure in Spanish film, TV and theater. Her film credits include Pedro Almodóvar’s DARK HABITS (ENTRE TINIEBLAS, 1983). Julio Medem’s THE TREE OF BLOOD (EL ÁRBOL DE LA SANGRE, 2018) and Paula Ortiz’s THE BRIDE. Which Gavasa the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress.
