Steph Song (Laina) in Affection (Dir. by Tricia Lee)
Tricia Lee’s short film is dripping with so much ‘Affection’, it illuminates the inner desire of a woman who has never enjoyed being spoiled, but who is self-made.

Laina (Steph Song) is not seeking true love but flings, and ends up with more than she could ever handle. It shake her up to see she can find what she considers elusive, and find it so close that she would never had seen it coming if she even asked for it.
After so many flings, she meets a child actor, who is a hunk, and with no clue to his background, she sleeps with him under the impression that he wants what sll men want, sex. But, Tyler (Steve Lund) is as frustrated as Laina, and wants to settle for true love, and not be seen as a hunk.
In the end Affection reminds us that we all want the same thing, and we get it on the road to elsewhere.
