Los Angeles – Orenda Entertainment presents KRISPR an independently developed film production from the heart of Los Angeles in California. The film is a science-fiction, thriller that is about love, jealousy, desire, and also manipulation. KRISPR is inspired by the real-life CRISPR cas9 gene-editing technology.

Logline: Christmas is a time for family, but KRISPR the genetically enhanced super-clone, doesn’t have one.   

Dr. Elijah Roelof is the world’s top DNA gene mapping specialist, but when his genetically enhanced super clone, KRISPR prototype G4-667 reaches cellular maturity, he decides to bring her home for Christmas to meet his family which turned out to be the biggest mistake of his life. We follow Krispr’s development as she quickly learns the darker aspects of humanity.

Firstly, the actresses who play the mother and daughter in our cast, are a real-life mother and daughter whose father and widower was the great John G Avildsen: RockyY (1976), Karate Kid (1984). Secondly, in our cast, we have Will Wallace playing the ex-politician and father. Will Wallace has been in many blockbuster films over the decades including The Thin Red Line (1998), I am Sam (2001). Finally, he will also appear in the upcoming biopic: REAGAN (2022).
