I was actually originally a radio presenter and one day decided start in the deep end as an extra so I joined in doing unpaid roles and progressed and developed into larger and better roles from there in tv and modelling as well.
Did you study acting
I never studied acting I did try a singing career and auditioned for xfactor and then decided despite the huge following I wanted to try something new out and become an extra in T V and film and things began from that ever since.

What acting technique do you use
I use both method and improvisation but I do also use a technique where I learn a couple of lines from a script at a time rather than trying to stress out by learning a huge script that way I end up knowing the entire script of my part by then the other method I tried was to video myself reading the script out to check I am in character in it with the emotion etc depending on the part I am auditioning or learning the script for.
What wrong impressions do actors hold about acting
I would say too much ego even though it’s good to be confident but not too confident as having a huge ego will destroy your performance or any chance of getting any opportunities offered.
Do you take courses to improve your craft
No, but I do watch webinars and posts of advice from other actors on social networks.
What acting books do you read
I tend to watch it online more than read a book
How do you keep fit as an actor
I walk and go to the gym and read up what other people in the industry are doing.
When you’re offered a role, what do you do next
I start to read the script but I also read the emails to check if I need to bring my own outfit for costume and plan out my travel route so I am there on time.
How do you create a character from a script into a person
I tend to use method acting in this but I do also read the briefing of the character so I can make sure I can be the character as accurate as possible.
How do you stay fresh on set
Thinking about the script I have and my part depending on the role I usually stay in character regardless.
Describe a memorable character you played
I played ‘Cath’ in a Comedy Sitcom called The Pub and ‘The Fat Lady’ in JIM comedy teaser.
Explain one creative choice you took on set
I improvised in a Russian TV drama I did when I was told what to say I changed it to suit me so I didn’t forget.
What do you want most from a director
I want good direction and a thank you (courtesy) after completing filming, I guess that is not too much to ask for.
What actors do you long to work with
Danny Dyer
Why
I love how he works, plus he is great in Eastenders, he make me watch it.
What advice would you give to actors
Stay focused no matter what is thrown in your way you can overcome the obstacle and go on to achieve results
Briefly write about your career
