I am Art Kulik, and my acting bug was initially sparked at the young age of (4) four. A local school play in search of children to fill a scene, gave me the opportunity to play a frog. I was so excited! My godmother (RIP), made me a costume, and set off my passion for acting and storytelling. However, because of my size and build, I was strongly encouraged by a coach to pursue basketball.
Throughout my childhood I grew up in the gritty Soviet Union. I used basketball as a means to support my mother, and keep off the streets. I eventually got accepted into the Olympic School and Belarusian Junior Basketball team. A knee injury eventually led me to depart from the team. I continued to pursue a successful acting career in Moscow.
At the age of 26, I made the journey over to LA. I have spent the last seven (7) years continuing my pursuit. And have honed my skills at Stella Adler Academy of Acting. I have worked in dozens of major Hollywood films and TV shows. Which include Rizzoli & Isles (TNT), Bosch (Amazon), Scorpion (NBC), and Teen Wolf (MTV).

Did you study what you do
I studied with Tim McNeil at Stella Adler Academy, following the Stanislavski method that inspired me back in Russia. In my earlier LA days, I garnered tons of knowledge and experience. I worked crew jobs for major Hollywood production companies. They gave me an inside look and perspective to filmmaking that I apply today on my own productions.
What is your filmmaking process
I’m trained in Stanislavski methods of acting from the Stella Adler Academy. I use it to create interesting, dynamic characters that are unpredictable, living in the moment, and never forget to listen.

Tell us about the work you have produced
I am one of the CEOs of Trilogy Media, Inc.. We’re currently working on a comedy TV series called F**kin’ Actors. Which has been accepted into (9) nine film festivals, and just won its 7th Best Web Series Award. We’ve also produced a number of independent short and feature films. Now we are currently in pre-production for our newest endeavor. The Caregiver is a psychological horror movie, with some name actors attached and big news to come soon.
Do you take courses to improve your craft
It’s always important to stay tuned and sharp. I’m always taking workshops and private coaching sessions in between jobs to make sure that I’m always seasoned and prepared.
How do you combine acting and producing
The beauty of producing is creating your own content and create roles. Such roles that truly inspire and bring the best out of you. It’s very important in this industry and this day and age to continue to generate your own content. And not wait on anybody else to give you an opportunity. With several films in pre-production, I can rely on my hardworking team. And can focus my efforts where my passion is most driven.
How did you get into the film business
I spent many, many hours working on film sets in my early days of LA, which gave me an insightful inside look at the process of filmmaking. My passion to create is always hungry, so I never miss an opportunity to keep something in the works. I learn something new on every endeavor I pursue, and I never forget to stop learning.
How do you create character
Using my training from Stella Adler, as well as the emotional honesty of my own person experiences, I apply myself and study the writing very closely. I make sure to always be emotionally loaded, and never forget to live in the moment.
What writing tip or idea can you give young actors
Never give up, always keep learning, surround yourself with those that are better than you, and never stop working as hard as you can.
What is is like working in the filmmaking business
It’s unpredictable, thrilling, and a roller coaster to say the least. It can be very competitive, stressful and discouraging at times, but if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.
What do you want to change about the film business
Unfortunately, this business is all about who you know, which can often make unknown talents go unnoticed. I want to create as much opportunity as possible for myself and my peers, and continue to generate quality.
What do you want to be remembered for
For being a game-changer. For showing and inspiring young dreamers that you can accomplish anything you want, regardless of who you know, how much money you have, or where you came from. Anybody can achieve their dreams if you work hard and smart enough. The last thing that I would like to say that all your dreams come true only in America -remember that!! God Bless America and God Bless you all!!
