Los Angeles, CA (April 10, 2025). Sunrise Films and Together Films collaborate to release In Camera. Naqqash Khlalid’s directs EE BAFTA Rising Star Award Nominee Nabhan Rizwan. The film hits US VOD April 29, 2025.
Synopsis: Aden is a young actor who is in a cycle of nightmarish auditions. After he receives multiple rejections, he takes it upon himself to find a new part to play.
Nabhan Rizwan is a Screen Star of Tomorrow of 2019. A recognition shared by BAFTA-winning Amir El-Masry (2021). Who stars in the film alongside the Writer/Director. Formally playful and fiercely charged, his debut about a struggling British Asian actor confronts film industry prejudice and social hypocrisy head-on.

The film is produced by BAFTA-winning producer Mary Burke of Public Dreams. Juliette Larthe as a first title for Pure Phase and with the UK arm of UK-US production firm Prettybird. In Camera is financed by BBC Film and the BFI (awarding National Lottery funding), in association with Uncommon Creative Studio.

And, was released in the UK as a Sky Original Movie in June 2024. Sunrise next plans to release action thriller SUNRAY: FALLEN SOLDIER, which was created by and stars former Royal Marines Commandos.
Rupert Preston is also the CEO of Vertigo Releasing. And, he has produced over 25 films including BRONSON. THE SWEENEY, PUSHER, HORRID HENRY: THE MOVIE, and MONSTERS. Nigel Williams is the Chairman of Vertigo Releasing and Protagonist Pictures.
