Acclaimed Film Director Neil Johnson will direct a “Terminator-esque” Sci-FI feature film titled EVOLUTION WAR, headlined by award-winning actress Tracey Birdsall. Tracey Birdsall is fresh from the award-winning Sony feature release “Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter” and newly-released rom-com “Who’s Jenna…?”. In EVOLUTION WAR, Tracy plays Angel-D, a hero of the great machine war who has returned to Earth to discover that a terrible plague had wiped out humanity.
Evolution War reunites Birdsall & Johnson, who have collaborated on several films, including the upcoming “The Time War”. Currently shooting, EVOLUTION WAR is described as a mix of “Terminator” and “Pacific Rim”, a science fiction film which sees the hero forced to build an army of robots to battle an army of mysterious creatures that are taking over the surface of the Earth.
The film also features Marilyn Ghiglioti (“Clerks’’), Brooke Lewis (‘’Starship: Rising’’), and Tony Gibbons (who voiced Hoagland in Johnson’s ‘’Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter’’).
EVOLUTION WAR is expected to release late Summer.
