Writer and Director Daniel Bogran aspired to be a film director since early childhood. Born in New Orleans–though having spent several of his formative years living in his father’s native Honduras–Daniel attended the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), and studied English at Vassar College. He chose English, he says, to hone his craft at writing with the ultimate goal of directing his own scripts. After graduating, Daniel worked and saved for two years to move to Los Angeles and start his career in film. He produced his first short film, “Low,” before his 26th birthday.
