“Chloe & Theo” is a film based on a true story. Theo is an Inuit elder and the lead in the film who plays a fictionalized version of himself. He actually came to NYC to talk about his people’s struggle with global warming and sustainability. This is how Sir Richard Branson got involved in the project. Inuit or Inuktitut for “the people” — are Indigenous people the majority of whom inhabit the northern regions of Canada.
Richard Branson traveled with Monica Ord to the great Canadian north on an expedition to fully understand the effects of climate change discussed in the film. The film is more relevant than ever – released in 2015 it was very prescient
Humanity continually needs to be inspired and reminded that environmental issues are still a serious problem that affects us. These effects will be felt now and for generations yet to come.
