Press Release
Los Angele, CA (May, 18 2023). Dances With Films returns for its highly-anticipated 26th edition from June 22-July 2nd, 2023, featuring over 250 films out of many thousands of submissions.
Leading films for the DWF Midnight Series include the horror comedy Butt Stuff, written and directed by award winning comedy filmmaker April Yanko. April is best known for her work in the popular D&D web series The Party.
Butt Stuff stars Jason Sealy, Elena Falgione and Cassie the Butt. The 8 minute short film tells the story of a man’s sentient sex toy that becomes jealous when its owner forms a relationship with a human woman.
Of her acceptance, April said, “I’m thrilled that my wonderfully weird work will be among the films shown at DWF’s Midnight Series. If you like weird rom-coms and horror that has a happy ending (not that kind of happy ending), then we hope to see you at our screening!”
