Los Angeles, CA (May, 12 2023). Leaf Lieber’s BURROW is a cathartic film. It shares the story of an ex-soldier, John who believes he is the only survivor in a global collapse. He comes across a weary traveler on the verge of death. The two men strike up a deal to help each other survive. The two men grow closer. John is left to confront the demons of his past or be left alone forever by his own making. Burrow is in selection from over 8K entries at the prestigious OSCAR-qualifying Tribeca film festival. Lieber is one of only 6 alumni filmmakers returning to the festival.
This phenomenal LGBTQ+ film is at the Tribeca Film Festival. This year with three screenings selling out in just thirty minutes.
Logline: Believing himself to be one of the last survivors left in the wake of extinction. An ex-war soldier finds unexpected comfort with the arrival of a weary traveler. This forces him to reckon with his long-avoided sexuality.

24 year old Writer, Director, and Producer of the film, Leaf Lieber is a New-York based queer filmmaker. Lieber has crafted a unique style that exists at the intersection of fantasy and reality. With an emphasis on grief and transformation. Lieber’s films have been showcased with BFI Flare, OUTFEST, ALTER, NOWNESS, Provincetown Film Festival. And the Tribeca Film Festival both in 2022 and 2023. He is currently developing his debut feature film.
Leaf Lieber executive produced BURROW along with Caroline Day and Gaby Novogratz. Actress/Producer Caroline Day (BILLIONS) came together with producer Gaby Novogratz (MY FRIEND DAHMER) as they co-founded Tall & Small Productions.

This powerful film will premiere on Saturday, June 10th at 8:30 pm. Followed by screenings on Monday, June 12th at 3:30 pm and Saturday, June 17th at 6:15 pm.
