Breeder, the full-length feature horror/thriller, follows the sinister events surrounding several mysterious disappearances taking place throughout the Maltese Archipelago, situated between Sicily and North Africa. Macabre discoveries, blood and riddling maggots draw the viewers into a well crafted world theming with suspense, carefully constructed by director Patrick Vella.
Synopsis: A private investigator on maternity leave and her young assistant take on a missing person’s case, unknowingly entering into deadly territory, as a deranged killer with unclear motives abducts ordinary people, transforming them into macabre vessels.

Italian producer Davide Manganaro and Maltese producer Anthony Borg, also founders of DNA Strands Productions, an independent Italo-Maltese film company, strongly believed in this production and carried out, along with their production team, extensive promotional work within film-festival circuits. After winning various awards and a theatrical release, BREEDER is now available in the USA via one of the leading streaming platforms in the world, Amazon Prime Video USA, with European and South American availability being currently discussed.
