A professional wrestler who has ambitious dreams is faces the impossible decision to defend his country or remaining silent. This incredible film is inspired by real events and is dedicated to Navid Afkari. An Iranian wrestler who was sentenced to death and executed after a wrongful conviction during the 2018 Iranian protests. Afkari once said “Our only power lies in our united voice”. A Good Day Will Come has qualified for the 2025 Oscars®.

Amir Zargara is an Iranian-Canadian writer and director. He’s unique perspective is took shape from a cultural mosaic of Iran and Canada. His journey is characterized by the resilience of an immigrant. And the challenges of living with a stutter, deeply influences his approach to filmmaking. Amir began his filmmaking journey with Become The Wounded. His films delve into the moral complexities faced by individuals. He focuse on the gray areas of human character and advocating for empathy over judgment. His latest film A Good Day Will Come is in qualification, in consideration for the 2025 Academy Awards®.

Producer Iman Tahsin is an Iranian filmmaker based out of Turkey. His production company, Haurvatat Film, has produced films in Iran and Turkey and co-produced with various countries such as Canada. His Films have played at prestigious festivals such as Venice, Hamptons, Melbourne to name a few.
Executive Producer Scott Aharoni is the Co-Founder of Curious Gremlin. He landed a spot on the 94th Annual Academy Awards shortlist for Best Live Action Short. His latest film The Shallow Tale Of A Writer Who Decided To Write About A Serial Killer. Which stars Steve Buscemi, John Magaro, and Britt Lower won an Audience Choice Award at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. Currently, Scott is an Executive Producer for Kristen Stewart’s directorial debut, The Chronology Of Water, which stars Imogen Poots.
Executive producer Tina Gharavi is a BAFTA-nominated writer and director. He garnered the attention of the film industry through her acclaimed BAFTA-nominated debut feature, I Am Nasrine. She recently directed Queen Cleopatra for Netflix. Her third feature, Virginia Woolf’s Night & Day is currently starting production starring Tim Spall, Lily Allen and Haley Bennett.
