Hello Julia! How did you get involved with “Two Faces Have I”?
Julia Wosiak (JW): Director Aedan Jayce approached me for “Two Faces Have I”. He did this based on my previous work in voice-over roles. Aedan’s impressive portfolio includes collaborations with High-profile projects like Netflix’s “Concrete Cowboy” and “Lincoln: Divided We Stand” and talents such as Conan O’Brien and Sterling K. Brown. He needed a voice that could convey emotional depth, and the film’s unique, experimental nature was a challenge I was eager to take on.

How was your experience working on a project that achieved such recognition? (“Two Faces Have I” won Best Experimental Short at the prestigious Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival)
Julia Wosiak (JW): Being part of “Two Faces Have I” was an incredibly rewarding experience. Especially as it was recognized at the Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival. The festival is known for promoting groundbreaking, innovative films. And, who’s winners went on to festivals like the Venice International Film Festival. It’s an honor to see our work placed alongside past winners who have made a significant impact in the industry. This reinforces the value of the project and the dedication behind it.
How did your collaboration with Aedan Jayce shape your voice-over performance?
Julia Wosiak (JW): Aedan’s direction was pivotal. He’s a visionary director with a talent for conveying emotional nuances. Our collaboration allowed me to dive deep into the character’s psyche and bring those layers to life through my voice. He gave me the creative freedom to explore the depth of the role while making sure the tone fit the film’s experimental and artistic direction.
What was the most challenging part of the project for you?
Julia Wosiak (JW): The challenge was in expressing the character’s full emotional range through voice alone. Without relying on physical acting. I had to convey complex emotions through subtle vocal changes. Ensuring that every line carried weight and resonated with the film’s artistic vision. This type of work required intense focus, particularly for an experimental project like “Two Faces Have I”.

While Venice Shorts is celebrated for its selection of films that push the boundaries of creativity. Having “Two Faces Have I” showcased on such platforms is a testament to the strength of the project. And, the team behind it, and it further cements my role as an international actress committed to impactful storytelling.
What impact do you hope “Two Faces Have I“ has on audiences?
Julia Wosiak (JW): I hope “Two Faces Have I” encourages viewers to think deeply about the dualities of identity and life. Its experimental style challenges conventional storytelling. I believe it will leave audiences reflecting on its themes long after the film ends. Ultimately, I hope it inspires discussions about the ways we perceive ourselves and others
What are your next projects?
Julia Wosiak (JW): I’m currently involved in several upcoming projects, both in film and voice-over. That explore themes of culture, identity, and human relationships. One of my passions is bridging my Polish heritage with international projects. I’m excited about continuing my work in theater and film with a focus on cross-cultural storytelling. I am also pursuing more collaborations internationally to bring fresh narratives to both the stage and screen.
