Review: This is the best Ridley Scott Movie in many years and the best movie of 2015. The premise is really simple, effective and primal. The movie displays a stellar cast and gave outstanding performances especially Matt Damon. Matt Damon’s character is Matt Watney is very likable and you buy into him as a Botanist, even though he is an astronaut. The film’s visuals are cinematic and immersive in presentation. Ridley Scott did a great Job on the atmosphere around Mars. Ridley Scott used the Wadi Rum in Jordan as a practical backdrop for Mars in filming. The movie boasts of great cinematography, thanks to Dairuz Wolski. The movie was surprisingly hilarious. The sense of humor in this is much better than in many comedies released this Year. The movie is scientifically accurate, as James L. Green, Director of the Planetary Science Division at NASA, worked as an adviser for the film. The score  by Harry Gregson-Williams is outstanding, immersive and great accompaniment for the movie. The movie did have the Ridley Scott intensity which gives the audience an edge of the seat experience. The movie was well executed in eevery way.

Recommendation: The Martian is a masterpiece and the space genre is making profit for the third year in a row. Everyone will enjoy this movie. The Martian premiered at TIFF on September 11, 2015, and was released in theatres in the UK in September 30th, 2015, and US in October 2, 2015. The film is available in 2D and 3D
