San Andreas is directed by Brad Peyton and it stars Dwayne Johnson, Carla Gugino, and Paul Giamatti. The story line of the movie recounts the aftermath of a massive earthquake in California, and a rescue-chopper pilot who makes a dangerous journey across the state in order to rescue his daughter.

The movie did not live up to my expectations. It is the second worst disaster movie I have seen. First lets go with the positives; Dwayne Johnson played well in his role. The visuals of the destruction was outstanding. That’s Pretty much the best part of the movie. Now the problems; the story was terrible. The acting of the rest of the cast wasn’t great. The movie has the “Don’t you quit on me” Cliche. In comparison with other disaster movies this movie is nowhere close to Rolland Emmerich’s disaster films, which are nothing short of entertaining.

San Andreas is an okay movie. If you love Dwayne Johnson or Just popcorn fun, then this is the movie for you. Although, the movie was a huge Box Office success grossing over 460M with a budget of 110M.
