Minions is the Prequel and spin-off Movie of the ‘Despicable ME’ Franchise. The Movie was a disappointment. The filmmakers almost cut the whole movie in the trailers. The movie was not funny at all. The plot was not impressive or good enough.
In the movie, three Minions; ‘Stuart’, ‘Kevin’ and ‘Bob’ are recruited together by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain, at villain-con (a type of comic-con) who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the entire world.
Weekend Estimates: ‘Minions’ – $115 million; ‘Jurassic’ – $18 mil; ‘Inside Out’ – $17 mil: http://t.co/Fx2wp61nbu pic.twitter.com/isUGICUCbN

The language of the Minions gets in the way of the dialogue and gets annoying halfway through the Minion movie. For me the super-villain, Scarlett Overkill did not have a backstory. The absence of Gru (though the period of the movie was back in 1968, which is 42 years before Gru) effected the movie.

Only The last act was drew some entertainment. The movie is completely made for Kids and Not For Adults, and so far the Minions movie is performing strongly at the Box Office and it has crossed the half a Billion mark already in just 2 weeks of its release.
