Los Angeles, CA. Lennexe Films is announces the limited theatrical and VOD release of The Prey: Legend of Karnoctus. The Prey is from co-directors Eric Hensman and Matthew Hensman. The action-adventure monster movie opened in Los Angeles on June 3, 2022. The Regency Theatres Van Nuys Plant 16 hosted the premiere of The Prey. On June 7, The Prey: Legend of Karnoctus became available nationwide on all major Cable VOD platforms. The platforms include Comcast, Dish, Charter, DirecTV, Cox, and Verizon Fios.
On July 7, The Prey: Legend of Karnoctus will debut on digital platforms, including iTunes, Prime Video, Vudu, and Google Play.
The Prey: Legend of Karnoctus stars Nick Chinlund (Chronicles of Riddick, Con Air), Adrian Paul (“Highlander: The Series”), Kevin Grevioux (Underworld), Fahim Fazli (Argo, Iron Man), Adolfo de la Parra, Justin Arnold, Masika Kalisha, and Danny Trejo (Machete, From Dusk till Dawn).

Matthew Hensman and Gustavo Sainz de la Peña wrote The Prey script. It is an adaption from a story by Gustavo Sainz de la Peña. It is an homage to the action-adventure and monster flicks of the 1980s.
In the Afghanistan desert, a group of mercenaries out for treasure completes their greatest heist. In search of refuge, they hide inside a nearby cave from the Taliban. US soldiers retreating from the territory also join up with them. After a rocket blast seals the cave’s entrance, the two groups band together to survive. The newly joined parties work together to find an escape through the labyrinth. A deadly beast tracks them, one local legend calls Karnoctus; and they become… the prey.
