Joshua and his mentor (Wallace Shawn) work for the government in exchange for a cure for a worldwide anathema. While on a mission, Joshua meets an untrained Scoper, Anna (Mia Maestro), and quickly falls in love with her however, the government won’t allow it. Joshua and Anna create a plan to disappear in hope of starting a new life together, but are soon discovered and torn apart. With the help of his childhood friend (Taryn Manning), Joshua is forced to discover the truth about his abilities, the corruption that surrounds him, and the power he has to save the future.
