FLEXY-K-NEX Web series by Nikelola Balogun is a Superhero parody depicting the day in the life of Stiffanny Woods, who doubles as a Superhero in her never-ending quest to save humanity from a life of discomfort, immobility, and physical dysfunction while battling the E-MOBiles, who try to foil her attempts.
Her fight to be taken seriously while educating the importance of flexibility and strength is also a constant struggle as people increasingly succumb to laziness taking their health for granted until it is oftentimes too late during a time when sedentary lifestyles continue to be on the rise.
Synopsis: Can Flexy-K-Nex get humanity back on track and stop the E-mobiles’ Anti-Movement regime?
Nikelola Balogun is an actress and newly budding writer and director with international acting experience under her belt. She got her to start performing in children’s theatre at the Bronx Zoo, New York City. This whets her appetite for theatre, and from there she landed a touring job with a New Jersey theatre company and then took her acting career overseas to Seoul Korea. She has since had the pleasure of appearing in a plethora of projects in both theatre and film opening doors for her creatively, which has led her to write, directing, and starring in her very first web series.

About Nikelola Balogun
Nikelola Balogun is an American actress, born to an American mother and Nigerian father, who started her acting career in NYC and then built it further in Seoul, Korea.
Born in Lagos, Nigeria to Kathryn Balogun, a Registrar at The American International School, and Waheed Balogun, an architect, creativity, and exploring her passions came naturally. At an early age, Nikelola was very active, participating in various activities such as ballet, being on the swim team, and later pursuing Track & Field which ended up earning her a track scholarship to Tulane University. After University, she received her Associates’ degree in Fashion Design at FIDM in Los Angeles and moved to NYC soon after working as a design assistant for 4 years.

After quitting her fashion job in 2008, she decided to pursue acting and booked a job working at a children’s Theatre Company at the Bronx Zoo where she worked for a couple of years until she booked a job at George Street Playhouse, touring NJ for a year performing in children shows dealing with conflict resolution.
In 2010, she decided to move to Seoul, Korea to direct and perform in musicals in English, where she also landed her first film International short film, Saved. Her acting career coupled with an inventory of creativity continues to snowball, turning her dreams into reality.
