Tricia Lee’s latest film drama Affection shares the story of a woman who ends up with more than what she bargained for when she goes on a quest to find affection. Just at the beginning of its festival run, this wonderful film has been screened at LA Shorts International Film Festival. Affection stars Steve Lund (Bitten, Reign) and Steph Song (Blood and water, Smallville).

Tricia Lee is a writer and director of Affection who has directed three award winning feature films and 11 shorts. Her film Blood Hunters screened at the Goes To Cannes Marche Screening and had its world premiere at Horror Channel’s Frightfest in London. Her other work includes Silent Retreat which won best Canadian Feature at The Toronto After Dark Film Festival.
Co-producer of Affection, Brain Quintero produced his first short film ‘Narcissistic’ in 2018 which has been to film festivals and has garnered of awards and nominations ever since. As an actor, Brian has done numerous independent features, Shorts, TV, Theatre and Commercial Work including; award winning ABC series ‘Designated Survivor’ and CW’s hit show ‘Beauty & The Beast’.
Angel Navarro III is an experienced Director of Photography on Affection, with a strong background in motion picture. He was the cinematographer on the short films Missing Space, Meeting Mommy which was also directed by Tricia and he also worked as the lighting technician on narrative shows and films such as Suicide Squad, American Gods, The Handmaid’s Tale, Missing Space and It.
The cast of Affection includes Steve Lund whose notable credits include Bitten, Reign, Haven and Schitt’s Creek and Steph Song who starred in Blood and Water, Smallville and alongside Jason Statham and Jet Li in War.
Affection will had its world premiere at LA Shorts International Film Festival on July 29th at 9:55pm.
