Chelsea Film Festival holds its 5th edition October 19-22, 2017. Chelsea film festival founder Ingrid Jean-Baptiste recently revealed the official poster #CFFNY2017 Official Poster on Twitter 12th September, 2017.
The CFF is complete with its team, board of directors, advisory board, and a film institute. The 5th edition of the CFF jury is comprised of Domenica Cameron-Scorsese (Jury President), Adrienne Stern, and Andrew Hauser.
Festival Highlights
The Chelsea film, festival promises a lot of interesting events which include, CYC Fitness Event, Climate Change Day, Women in Power Event, and First Annual Virtual Reality Competition. Tickets to the various events during the festival are available for purchase on the CFF website.
Schedule
This fitness event is a celebratory event for CFF 5th year anniversary, in partnership with CyC Fitness Studio. The class will be led by a Celebrity instructor on Wednesday, October 17th.
Climate Change Day will take place at FIT on Sunday, October 22nd from 1pm-6pm (panels, VR exhibition, brunch, cocktail). This program is in partnership with FIT, Samsung, Oculus and more.
The First Annual “Women in Power” Event, in partnership with The Hollywood Reporter will take place at LaDurée Soho on Wednesday, October 18th from 12pm-3pm.
The Virtual Reality Competition is dedicated to showcasing diverse and innovative work in the VR space. Work made by Women, People of Color, LGTBQ are strongly welcome. A Jury of 5 Industry Professionals presided by Illya Szilak will offer the First Annual Virtual Reality Grand Prix Award on Sunday, October 22nd.
The Chelsea Film Festival is an international film festival, enlightening the work of emerging filmmakers, producers and actors. It offers a wide range of films, such as documentaries and feature-lengths, focusing on the theme of “Global Issues”. It empowers the work of risk-taking storytellers and remains committed to its mission to discover and develop independent artists and audiences around the world.

The Chelsea Film Festival is an event consisting of four days of screenings of independent shorts, feature-lengths and documentaries from emerging directors. In between sessions, we will be hosting Q&A sessions, and related events such as an industry mixer for professionals.
