Comedy Web-Series “Danger Pay” Set to Release 5 New Episodes

Danger Pay is an episodic comedy web-series about a paralegal, Michelle. A new episode releases Thursdays

Calgary, AB – September 20, 2016 – Comedy web-series, Danger Pay, will be releasing five (5) new episodes, the first being uploaded to YouTube on Thursday, September 22, 2016, and subsequent ones being released each Thursday thereafter.  You can find the series on its YouTube Channel.

Danger Pay is an episodic comedy series about a paralegal, Michelle, who accepts a job that pays more than usual to work for a bizarre lawyer.  She endures his antics so that she can afford to pursue her dreams.

The well-received series pilot was nominated 2016 Best Pilot by WebFest Montréal for its first episode “The Early Bird Gets the Worm”.  The series has also been mentioned by Tubefilter as an under-the-radar series to watch.  It has also been nominated in the Canadian Comedy Awards.

In the new episodes, we continue to follow the paralegal, Michelle, as she endures the ongoing wacky antics of Woodrow (played by actor Brent McIntosh), the narcissistic man-child lawyer, in a host of new situations.

Danger Pay_indieactivityDanger Pay is the creation of actress, writer, and producer Carolyn Bridget Kennedy.  This is Carolyn Kennedy’s first foray into writing and producing a scripted series.  “I was incredibly happy and gratified for the nomination from WebFest Montréal”, said Kennedy.  “Pilot episodes are a challenge, because you have to introduce the audience to the characters for the first time while, hopefully, telling an interesting and entertaining story and squeezing it all into something under 10 minutes.  I learned a great deal from the pilot and believe that I took what I learned and used it in the subsequent episodes.”
